DO NOT READ IT'S NOT DONE YET Weekly Round-Up (25/8/2014 - 30/8/2014) by sF77
Hey guys! Sorry about this being late (again) but this time it was late on purpose becasue I wanted to include news from PAX Prime. So here we go!
Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell was announced
Volition have announced a standalone expansion to Saints Row IV titled Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell. It tells the story of how The Boss has been taken to hell via an ouija board and Johnny Gat and Kinzie must descend into hell to rescue him and kill Satan. The map will be about half the size of Steelport in SR4 and it's going to be interesting to see how Volition are able to make up for the lack of character customization due to the fact that you're going to play as Johnny Gat and Kinzie. But I suppose you can customise the clothing and that's it.
Saints Row Gat Out of Hell will release on PS4, PS3, XB1, Xbox 360 and PC on January 30 in Australia. Alongside that is a re-release of Saints Row 4 for current-gen systems titled "Saints Row IV Re-Elected" which will release on the same day with Gat Out of Hell bundled with it.
Tl;dr: A stand-alone DLC for SR4 is coming out on January 30.
GOG.COM Upgraded
Gog.com has been upgraded with an all-new layout, support for multiple currencies, and DRM-Free movies. The cool thing about the multiple currencies is that when you go to buy a game in aussie dollars and it's cheaper in US dollars, you get that extra cost back in store credit. For example: if Deus Ex 1 is $10 USD and it's $11 AUD, I would get that $1 aussie dollar back in store credit after purchase. But the big change is that fact that DRM-Free movies are now here. Gog are now trying to get Hollywood on board with it's site in order to sell some Hollywood blockbusters on the store. Overall the upgraded store is amazing.
Tl;dr: Go here: "gog.com". It's amazing!
