The Round Up: 8/9/2014 – 19/9/2014 by sF77

What’s up guys and welcome to The Round Up. What was previously the “Weekly Round-Up” is now just “The Round Up”. With this new naming I can provide these within a timespan in which there is news instead of having to cover one article a week or no articles whatsoever. Please give me feedback in the comment section below (if there is one).

Deadpool Movie Officially Announced

20th Century Fox have officially announced the highly anticipated Deadpool movie. This comes after some 3 year old test footage was leaked a month ago and how it went viral with people asking for it to be a proper movie. But now we know it’s in production with a release date of February 12, 2016. It’s unknown as to whether or not Ryan Reynolds will be in the movie but there’s a very high chance that he will be in the movie.

Need for Speed Rivals Complete Edition Announced

EA have announced the Need for Speed Rivals Complete Edition. It will contain all previously released DLC’s and will release on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC via Origin. It will release on October 21 in North America and October 24 in Europe, so it may come out on October 23 in Australia. Need for Speed Rivals was released back in November last year on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and had received positive reviews upon release.

GTA 5 Current-Gen and PC release dates announced

Rockstar Games have announced the release dates for GTA 5 on PC and Current-Gen. It will release on PS4 and Xbox One on November 18 and on PC on January 27. The reason for the delay on PC was due to ensure that it is “as amazing and polished as possible”. Grand Theft Auto V was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 back on September 17, 2013 and received critical acclaim upon release.

Microsoft Revealed Xbox One Controller for PC

You can see the satisfaction in his face

Microsoft have announced that they’re releasing a wired Xbox One controller specifically for use with Windows 7 and 8 PCs. It’s pretty much the exact same controller except it comes with the wire used in order to connect to the PC. This means that if you have an Xbox One you can use it and then you can plug the wire into your controller in order to plug it into your computer. But the question still stands as to why they are releasing this in the first place considering the fact that you can simply buy an Xbox One controller right now and plug it into your computer. So honestly this is a pointless thing to release.

Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass Returning to the Bourne Series

Matt Damon and the director the last two films in the Bourne Trilogy, Paul Greengrass are in the process of making a deal with Universal to make a new Bourne film starring Damon. This comes after a report a few months ago that said that Damon would return to the franchise but Damon had always said that he would only return if Greengrass was directing it. Universal had already planned a Bourne film starring Jeremy Renner for a July 16, 2016 release but that may be releasing a bit later than the one with Damon. The last entry in the Bourne series was The Bourne Legacy which was released back in 2012 and starred Jeremy Renner.

Thanks guys for being patient, I hope this new Round Up does better than the previous one. Please leave feedback in the comment section below if there is one.

But anyway, thanks for reading!
